idhl acquires leading Shopify Plus agency, Statement

The north’s digital heavy weight, IDHL Group, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Statement, a fast-growing Shopify agency.
Differentiated within the market by their strong merchant background, Statement specialise in Shopify Plus. A top UK Shopify Plus partner, Statement help ambitious retailers grow using the power of Shopify and their innate eCommerce expertise.
This latest addition to IDHL’s connected Group of agencies comes less than a year after leading Magento agency, Pinpoint Designs, were welcomed into the Group. Strengthening IDHL’s eCommerce offering, Statement’s Shopify Plus expertise extends the range of web development platforms available to an ever-growing client pool, bringing even further choice.
Known for scalability, Shopify Plus have made significant investments in the UK, establishing a dedicated office and team focused on building partnerships and generating new opportunities. With a vision to become the leading UK agency for Shopify Plus, Statement will leverage Group resources to exploit the growing opportunity within the Shopify market.

The acquisition was supported by Squires Patton Boggs for legal advice alongside Grant Thornton Leeds who completed due diligence.
