National digital performance marketing agency IDHL is today revealing its fresh rebrand after undergoing a consolidation of several agency monikers.
IDHL, which specialises in performance media, eCommerce, web development, data and email marketing, this week launches its new look and website bringing together WMG, Ingenuity Digital, Equation, Statement, NetConstruct, Pinpoint, Ampersand and Conesso under the IDHL umbrella.
The rebrand marks a new era for IDHL, which has been on an organic and acquisitive growth path in recent years as it operated as idhl Group. The rebrand sees a complete overhaul of the IDHL website, new brand assets throughout and the retirement of separate agency brands and websites.
IDHL has three divisions - Intelligence, Performance and Web & eCommerce - and has specialist teams focused on accelerating growth for clients with the delivery of integrated services. The agency employs more than 400 people across its offices in London, Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester and Newcastle. Acquired by Bridgepoint Development Capital in 2021, IDHL prides itself on achieving tangible results for businesses. It works with clients spanning sectors including financial services, professional services, industrials, luxury and fashion.
Ben Wood, CEO at IDHL, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to see the rebrand launch, setting the tone for our future ambitions. The time is right to now unite our various brands to maximise growth for clients through data-driven expertise.
“We’re extremely grateful for the diligent and forward-thinking approach of our expert team members, who have been involved in this process from the outset as we bring everyone together.
"Our teams are delivering exceptional work in an increasingly data-driven and fast-paced market and this launch supports our consultative approach.
“I would like to thank our teams and clients for coming on this exciting journey with us. We look forward to building on the success of all three IDHL divisions.”
In the last 12 months, IDHL has made several new senior hires including Katie Duance as Marketing Director, Dan Taylor as Commercial Director, Ben Unwin as Business Development Director and Sharon Palmer as Director, Group Accounts and Client Success. Sam Ogrizovic was also appointed as Director of International to launch the firm’s first office in the US this year. The expansion comes as IDHL identified potential growth opportunities for US clients and existing UK clients with a US presence.
IDHL is one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent digital agencies. Established in 2000, it has since grown both organically and acquisitively as it continues to deliver best-in-class services for clients. An IDHL client survey in Q2 2024 revealed what clients are most eager to understand in the digital performance marketing space. Top of their list was the impact of Artificial Intelligence on digital strategy and operations.
The rebrand comes as several reports showcase the buoyant nature of the marketing and advertising markets, bouncing back after a challenging few years. The Bellwether Report, published this month [July], found that the net balance of UK businesses had expanded their marketing budgets in Q2; the highest level since Q1 2014. According to IBISworld, the digital agencies market is increasing in size in the UK, with the Digital Advertising Agencies sector worth £17.3bn in 2023 (measured by revenue). Meanwhile, ad spend alone is projected to grow by 5.86% 2024-2028.
